As an artist, I have used many social platforms to help get eyes on my art. The truth is, it used to work… but many issues popped up. As social platforms grew, so did the lack of care they put into them.
Soon these spaces became overran with bots and spam. I noticed that engagement with my art had begun to fall, and it was due to these issues.
But being an artist, I knew I had no real choice to go anywhere else to share. So, I stayed, then I found some of my art started to be stolen. Screenshotted and used by fake accounts. It was at this last straw you could say, I knew I had to do something. I had to build a better space not just for myself, but for the artists' community.
So, I built Ikaris. I did this by taking funds my wife and I had saved for a trip to Paris. I took on this sacrifice because I knew it would be the only way I could build out my MVP. When I built Ikaris, I knew I had to fix all the issues I found on the platforms I had been using.
Are you ready to keep your digital art safe?
Ikaris, a revolutionary new digital art platform that empowers artists to protect their work and get honest feedback from their peers. As artists, we understand the challenges of sharing our work online, where it can be easily copied and shared without our permission. That's why we created Ikaris, a platform that stops unauthorized screenshots and provides a peer-to-peer rating system to help artists see how their art is truly perceived by their peers. With Ikaris, artists can feel confident in sharing their work, knowing that their creations are protected and they have a reliable way to get valuable feedback on their progress.
Ikaris is built to help digital artists, to market their art. Ikaris is built to help protect digital art from being stolen. Ikaris is built by artists for artists.
